Warts are a type of infection caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. More than 80 various types of HPV have been identified, and they have tropism (affinity) for different types of body tissue. They can affect any area of the body, but are normally present on the fingers, hands, and feet. Warts are generally painless with the objection of the warts on the soles of the feet. HPV is carried from person to person by direct or indirect contact, and from one body location to another on the same person. The virus more easily penetrates the body through an area of skin that is moist, peeling, or cracked. Some human papillomavirus subtypes also cause cervical cancer and other more nebulous types of wart-related cancers. Some types (e.g., condyloma acuminta) are addressed sexually.

Genital warts are found in soft, moist areas that are in and around the vagina, anus, penis, groin, and/or scrotum. Many home treatment and prevention remove the warts. Apply enough garlic to cover the wart. Conceal it with a bandage and keep it overnight. Fresh milky sap of the leaf or stem is applied immediately to warts once a day. Normally it works dramatically; non-irritating, does not hamper normal skin.
Apply a drop of grape fruit extract on the area 3-4 times a day and cover it with some cloth or bandage for warts reduction. Rubbing a piece of chalk or raw potato on the area consistently will remove the wart in few weeks. Actuation of tea tree oil to the area for 7-10 days will melt the wart. Coating the area with camphor oil several times will reduce the wart in few days. Onions are also helpful in warts. They are irritating to the skin and inspire the circulation of the blood. Warts sometimes fades when rubbed with cut onions. Marigold is an other herb found favorable in the treatment of warts.
Home Remedies for Wart Removal
1. Crush a clove of garlic and place it on the area with wart and cover it with bandage.
2. Applying fresh cut pineapple on the affected area several times in day will remove the wart in 2-3 days and is good home remedy for warts.
3. Apply juice of fig stems to the area and leave for sometime.
4. Coating the area with camphor oil several times will remove the wart in few days.
5. Massage the area with castor oil twice a day, it will make the area soft and remove wart. This is another home remedy for wart.
6. Crush the vitamin C tablets and apply on the area, cover it with adhesive bandage.
7. Apply a drop of grape fruit extract on the area 3-4 times a day and cover it with some cloth or bandage for warts removal. This is a good home remedy for wart.

10. Use vitamin A oil from fish oil or fish-liver-oil by applying it on the wart.
11. Douse lemon slices for two weeks with little salt in apple cider vinegar. After two weeks apply the lemon slices on the wart.
