Matching your makeup to your hair color can seem a bit difficult, but it’s actually quite easy. If you have brunette color hair, you probably have already realized that quite a few colors can look good with your hair color. Here are some tips on matching makeup to brunette hair color.
Make up Tips for Brunette Hair Color
1. Be careful when using lighter colors. Although you may like the appearance of white and light blue or pink eye shadow, it may not necessarily look the best with brunette hair color.
2. Always try to opt for very natural colors. Don’t forget about shades of brown, gray, purple and green. Blending your makeup in well is a very important key to maintaining a natural appearance. This important for anyone with any hair color to do, not just brunettes.
3. Avoid wearing red lipstick, as much as you may want to. The red tones in the lipstick will clash with your brunette hair color. Shades of light pink, peach or even certain shades of light to medium brown tend to look the best.
4. If you are planning on going out for the night, smoky eye makeup can be a great choice. Blend three shades of the same color, ranging from darkest (closest to the eyelashes) to lightest (closest to the skin below the eyebrows). Brunettes will want to choose shades of brown or gray.
5. Experiment as much as you can. The only way that you will ever be able to find out what looks good in combination with your brunette hair color is to try new things. Don’t be afraid to try new shades that you wouldn’t have thought of trying before. You never know what will look the best with brunette hair.
